ABOUT OUR MEMBERS
How To Become A Member
The state of the visual arts in South Florida took a giant leap forward with the formation of "2+3 The Artists' Organization." The late sculptor Duane Hanson and The Broward Cultural Affairs Council were significant advocates in the early days of 2+3. As a non-profit, 2+3's mission is to strengthen and expand the art scene in South Florida and to encourage interaction and understanding between professional artists and the community.
Each of our members are highly visible nationally as well as in the South Florida community. All members are required to play an active role toward the accomplishment of our mission nationally as well as regionally
Additionally, 2+3 members mentor and model creative and critical thinking methods as well professionalism as we outreach into the community in an educational capacity. 2+3 is dedicated to furnishing the working artist with an atmosphere of solidarity; that being an ambience of moral support and mutual trust that allows the exchange of creative and technical strategies.
Our character requires all incoming members be juried into the organization thereby honoring the doctrine set into place by our original members and advocates.
